New Projects

Well that is my second block of Hocuspocusville. I'm enjoying it ver much. Now the redwork pictures I picked up at a quilt shop in town every month has a different block. I love it. The spiders are adorable. I find myself putting Hocuspocusville aside and working on the redwork. Look how quite December is. Love the snowman.

Yeah! I finished my first Hocuspocusville block. I've already started my second block. I was a cosmetologist. So of course only doing three or four I have to do the salon. Ok now for the purse. I work part time at JoAnn fabrics. A bolt of the owl courderoy came in and I thought fall bag. It went in the same night. I never even got a yard. Then the truck came the next week. The great girls I work with knew how sad I was and saved the bolt for me. I got a yard and then that whole bolt was sold. Geesh! They are a hoot! Check out the polka dot lining. I have a little obsession with polka dots. Love them lots! Oh by the way the girl modeling the purse is my 14 and half year old daughter. She still can't believe I'm going to actually carry the purse with her in public. She will get over it. Just like she gets over everything else I do.

Finally Finished

Well exciting mail today! Quilt show tickets for Madison, Wisconsin quilt show. Can't wait to go with my friend Colleen. Well I finished Greatest Joy. I think I did it just to prove my daughter wrong. She said I would be stitching it all summer. It might not get hung before summer is over but that wasn't the deal. The first picture is Hocuspocusville. I'm stitching that one with Colleen. She is doing the whole quilt. I would never get the whole thing done. Thought I would just concentrate on three houses. This one is the witches boutique. I am also using the Sulky 12wt. thread, like Colleen and love it. Used it on Greatest Joy also. I love to stitch while I watch soapnet at night when I get home from work. I hope to finish tomorrow. NO WORK!

Yeah My First Picture Worked

Here are some more pictures of our yard. Condo living is looking better and better every day. Along with the constant weed picking comes, the joy of the large mulch bill. Which we skipped this year. Big mistake for next year. Love looking at the yard just hate the up keep. If it would just stop multiplying.

Well I thought it was time I gave this picture thing a try. This is a pond area near our patio. Believe it or it was suppose to be our bath tub. Didn't work out. Turned into pond. One big pain. Well let's see what happens.
